Leeu is a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, 2-year-old neutered male. 

Leeu (pronounced Leo) is a short red dog of undetermined origin.  If a ridge on his nose and a wrinkle on his brow, along with a measure of attitude count, then Leeu is certainly part Ridgeback. He is affectionate and very loving with anyone who takes the time to get to know him.  He is respectful of your space and will walk by your side completely at ease.  However, first impressions are important and those he meets must give him space and time for him to assess your character.   

Leeu is very accepting of other dogs but will stand up to any dog that gets in his face.  He is not antagonistic to other dogs and quite skilled at handling those who are without resorting to extreme measures.  He is loyal to his people and will bark loudly at those who trespass on his territory.  Though he gives the impression of a shy and frightened dog, if he is cornered and all paths of avoidance are taken, he will respond with ferocity.  He is more tolerant of strangers than most dogs.   

Leeu would make a great addition to any family that can provide a quiet and controlled environment.  You would be hard pressed to find a more loyal dog.
