A Word from Blake

 

Hi, everyone!  My name is Blake.  I've been at TIRR Rescue since 2017.

I used to be at a shelter with my sister Gwen, but we were diagnosed with distemper.  The shelter just didn't have the resources to treat us, so they sent us to TIRR Rescue in the hopes they could help us get better and find great homes.

​

I am now completely cured of distemper, as is Gwen.  I could really use a nice, loving home that will give me the love and attention I need.  I can be a little intense at first, but I am a great guy once you get to know me.  I could use some basic obedience training and someone who is willing to be patient with me while I get to know them.  If you think you may be that person, be sure to contact my rescue people!

PERSONALITY:
Blake is a wary dog who will need an attentive owner willing to give him time and work with him on obedience.  He loves to run the fence and play in the water but also knows how to chill when it's time to come in.
