Save a Heart
Did you know?
Heartworm treatment can cost anywhere between $600 and $800.
Heartworm treatment takes at least 60 days to complete.
A dog undergoing heartworm treatment must remain calm and inactive for at least 90 days.
Heartworm treatment is expensive, and TIRR Rescue has an almost-constant flow of heartworm-positive dogs. Any dollar (or couch penny) goes a long way toward making our dogs healthy. However, it’s also hard to keep a dog calm in a kennel environment, which is why fosters are so important. A foster can literally save a life!
