A Word from Maddox

 

Maddox is not a Ridgeback; in fact, he is not really sure what the big deal is with Ridgebacks.  At best guess we believe he is mostly Mastiff. For sure, he is a big sweet lovable dog with strong opinions and an irresistible personality. He shares a few qualities with the Ridgeback such as selective hearing, stubborn to the bone, and of course, food motivation. Unlike many Ridgebacks he is very eager to please all those he meets, and a couple of treats makes him your friend for life.  Once you have his attention, he is very obedient and eager to learn. He is velvet, dark brindle coat and large sad eyes are quite alluring. All around Maddox is a dog that you cannot but help love.
