A Word from Luke

 

Hi, everyone. My name is Luke. I’ve been at TIRR Rescue since 2018.

​

My dad was a soldier, and he had to leave the country to go save people. I’m a very particular dog when it comes to who I obey and who I don’t. My dad wasn’t sure anyone could handle me, so he brought me to TIRR Rescue, a place known for helping unruly dogs. Well, Dad wasn’t sure when he’d be back, so he asked TIRR Rescue to find me a good home.

I select my dog friends very carefully. Right now, I only hang out with Boomer. I like to talk trash at the fence, but I’m sweet when you get me out. I like to be loved on a little, but I don’t like to be crowded, so I’d do best in a home without younger children. I may be getting older, but I still like to run and play, so a running partner would be pretty nice!

Luke is a cool dog who just needs a little time to warm up to people. He likes to bark at the fence, but is sweet when he's around people. He can be a little intense, so he'd do best in a home without children or cats. He chooses his dog friends carefully, so a doggie introduction is a must for any potential adopters.
