A Word from Blossom
Hello, hello! My name is Blossom. I came to TIRR Rescue in January 2021.
I was found as a stray and taken to an animal shelter down in Houston. I was super scared, constantly shaking and sometimes growling. The shelter workers thought I was being aggressive, so they put me on the euthanasia list. Fortunately, TIRR Rescue stepped up and said they would take me in, so a nice lady and her husband gave me a Freedom Ride to TIRR.
When I arrived at TIRR, I was still a little scared, but they quickly paired me with Cita, a momma dog who knows how to handle young pups like me. Hanging out with Cita has given me a lot of confidence. I’m super happy and friendly now, always ready to greet everyone. I love playing, especially if there’s a tennis ball involved, and my rescue people describe me as quite the wiggle worm when I get excited!
I would love to have a family of my very own; if you think you might be that family, be sure to contact my rescue people!

Blossom is a very sweet girl who loves playing and being loved on. She is especially fond of tennis balls. Blossom will need a family who will give her lots of affection and playtime. Blossom can be very shy when placed in new environments, so she would benefit from some socialization. She would enjoy having a doggy sibling but would also be fine without one. Blossom would love any activity that allows her to bond with her people, be it playing or training.
